Nosy Lonjo d'Antsiranana
Nosy Lonjo d'Antsiranana is part of the Tentative list of Madagascar in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Nosy Lonjo d'Antsiranana is a conical island of volcanic origin. It is covered with baobab and mangrove vegetation and is populated by a diverse fauna. It is a sacred burial place of the Sakalava kings and a place of ancestor worship through traditional ceremonies.
